We want to thank Michael for his contributions and major impact he had made with his time with us at the Dew Drop Inn. Michael is a placement student from the Confederation College CICE program we had the privilege of having in the building since January and yesterday was his last placement day. Thank you to Michael for making everyday you`re in the building a fun one and thank you for all the hard work you`ve given us to help others. The Dew Drop Inn is a safe welcoming place that provides a nourishing meal daily while building a community of inclusion, dignity and respect. The Dew Drop Inn is looking for an awesome individual to join our expanding team as an Operations Supervisor. This is a full time position with 35 hours per week and our hours of operation are 9 am to 4 pm daily. Thank you to all who donated last week and for all those who inquired about our immediate wish list items. It is truly appreciated and thank you all for the part you play in our feeding program. This week for our wish list items we are asking for are apples and oranges. These two items are items we can simply never have enough of. Doing 150 bagged lunches every day we always include a piece of fruit. We also always offer as a healthy dessert option for our hot meal daily. Items such as granola bars, cookies, or any packaged snacks are on our wish list these are also included in our lunch bags daily. Sugar is our next item, whether it be baking or for our beverage station this is another item we truly appreciate when it comes threw the door. Last but not least is broccoli and cauliflower they make great additions to our hot meals whether it be as a side hot vegetable or including it into our main dish. These are our wish list items but all donations are encouraged and accepted. Donations can be dropped off daily at the Dew Drop Inn 9am-3:30pm. Thank you all for your ongoing support.
