A special Thank You to the TBay 100 People Who Care, who voted for our Receiving Chute Project during the 2nd quarter of the year.
A huge Thank You also goes out to the Port Arthur Rotary Club for paying off the balance owing on the Receiving Chute.
95% of incoming donations to the Dew Drop Inn go downstairs into our basement for storage. Eventually all those donations are brought back upstairs to be used in our meals. The Receiving Chute will reduce the amount of time we spend receiving goods.
The chute was installed on April 16, 2020 and our staff and volunteers are thankful to be running less stairs!
