The Dew Drop Inn held its Easter Dinner on Sunday, March 27th. Preparations for the dinner began in the kitchen of St. Andrew’s Church a few days in advance where soup kitchen manager Julio Chiodo cooked 30 turkeys. Once cooked, a team of volunteers came in to carve the turkeys. The Knights of Columbus Leo Council 1130 came in on Easter Sunday to prepare the remainder of the meal which included 250 lbs. of potatoes, 100 lbs. of glazed carrots, 60 boxes of stuffing, gravy and apple crisp for dessert. The delicious meal was enjoyed by 305 people who attended the dinner. A big DDI thank you goes out to the Knights for taking on the dinner and to all who assisted in its success.
